Battery Water
The electrolytes are a mixture of water and sulphuric acid. The water protects the battery’s active material while it generates power. Without water, the active material will oxidize and the battery will lose power. Lead-acid batteries need water to aid the power generation within the battery cells and stop the active material from oxidizing.
